                                           August Court 1718                                               139
   her for vending Selling & disposing of diverse Liquors to Severall of the Inhabitants
   of the Said County then and there being at and after the rates & assessments
   by the Justices of the Said County Court Settled & regulated &ca. And that he
   have then and there the Said precept &ca.
      Att which Said next Court vizt. the Nineteenth day of August the Same
   Year last mentioned the day of return of Said precept came Simon Wilmer
   Gent. high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words -
   thereon Endorsed as folls vizt Summoned pr S Wilmer Sher
      and the afd Catharine Kelley by Thomas Bowne her attry aprs.
   to the afd Accõn & prays liberty to imparle till next Court which
   is granted and thereupon ye Same is Continued
   The Lord Propry. | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
             ——— | the Nineteenth day of June in the fourth Year of his
                 at | Lord Ships Dominion &ca. That he Cause to come
   Peter Read | Peter Read late of Eastern Neck Hundred in the County

   :wick that all Excuses and delays be Sett apart he be and appear before
   his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in
   the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer a Certain bill of Indictment
   found by the Grand Jury against him for vending Selling & disposeing of—
   divers liquors to Severall of the Inhabitants of the Said County then and there
   being at & after the Rate of Assessments by the Justices of the Said County Court
   Setled & regulated &ca. And that he have then and there the Said precept &ca
           Att which Said next Court vizt. the Nineteenth day of August the Same
   Year last mentioned the day of return of Said precept came Simon Wilmer

   Hance Hanson | ordered by the Court here that his recognizance be

discharged and his Suretys Recognizance for his appce.

   Hance Hanson afd Recognizance taken in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterling to
   be Leveyed &ca. Conditionally if he did not appear at this present Court and that in ye.
   mean time he was to be of good behaviour and Especially to a Certain Garret
   Clozier   And now at this Court no person comeing in to Court to Shew Cause
   why the Same Should not be Condemned This Court here discharges the Same
   Recognizance
