August Court 1718 127 the afd Daniel Pearce and Thomas Cooke acknowledged of their Lands and Chattells to be made and to the behoofe and use of the Said Jedidiah to be Leveyed if it Shall the Said Christopher Philipson in any the premises to make default and thereof in Lawfull manner to be Convicted as by the Record & process thereof in the Said Court of the Said Late Lady the Queen here residing manifestly appeareth and altho the afd Jedidiah Andrews afterwards vizt. on the nineth day of August Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Eleaven in the Said County Court before the Said Col William Pearce and his associates then Justices of the Said Late Lady the Queen of the Court & County afd of And upon the plea afd had Recovered against the afd Christopher Philipson as well the afd Sume of thirty pounds Currant Silver money as afd Debt as also the Sume of four hundred and fourty five pounds of Tobacco Costs which to the Said Jedidiah Andrews in the Said Court here were adjudged for his damages which he had by Occation of detaining of his debt whereof he is Convicted Sustain: :ed as by the Record & process thereof in the Same Court of the Said late Lady ye Queen before the Said Justices here Likewise residing doth manifistly appear Yet the afd Christopher Philipson his body to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County did not deliver nor to the afd Jedidiah And [illegible] the debt and Costs afd Satisfied as by the Information of the afd Jedidiah Andrews (we Receive i:e: the Lord proprietarie Receved and we being willing that those things that in our afd Court before our afd Justices wee Command you that by good & Lawfull men of your Bailywick you make known to the afd Daniel Pearce & Thomas Cooke that they be and appear before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in August next to Shew cause if any they have or know to Say wherefore the afd Jedidiah Andrews wherefore the afd Thirty pounds the debt afd and the Sume of four hundred and fourty five pounds of Tobacco Damages appeared by their in forme afd Recognized of their Lands and Chattells to be made or the afd Christopher Philipson to render himselfe ought not according to the forme of the Recognition appeared if to them it Shall Seem Expedient and have you there the hames of those by whom to them you make known and also this writ witness Nathaniel Hynson Gent chiefe Justice of our Said Court this 20th day of June in the third Year of our Dominion &ca.
