   Chano if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Safe keep So that
   he have his body before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be
   held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer
   unto James Heth of a plea that he render him the Summe of Seven——
   hundred and Eighty pounds Tobacc of the value of Seven pounds tenn—
   Shillings Sterl money which from him he unjustly detains &ca. And that
   he have then and there the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court
   vizt. the Nineteenth day of August the Same Year last mentioned the
   day of the return of Said writ Came Simon Wilmer Gent high Sherf of Said
   County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls
   vizt. Cepi Corpus pr S:Wilmer Sherf
   and a Declaration being fild when Said writ Issued forth and
   a Copy thereof Served therewith according to Act of Assembly in—
   Such Case made was as folls vizt Kent County Ss Henry Chanell of Kent
   County Planter alis Dics Henry Chano was Summoned to Answer unto
   James Heath of a plea that he render thim the Sume of Seven hundred
   and Eighty Seven pounds of Tobacco of the value of Seven pounds Tenn
   Shillings Sterling money which from him he unjustly detains &ca.
    and Whereupon the afd Plt. by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that
   whereas the afd Deft the Sixteenth day of December in the Year of our Lord
   Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at St. Pauls Parish
   in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his Certain writing —
   obligatory which he the Said Deft Sealed with his Seale and as his deed
   delivered hereinto Court brought the date whereof is the Same day and
   year afd bound himselfe to pay unto the afd Plt. the afd Sume of —
   Seven hundred and Eighty pounds Tobacco of the afd value of Seven
   pounds tenn Shillings Sterling money being for the Rent of the then
   Dwelling Plantation of the Said Deft due and Ending the first day of
   November last past when thereunto required Yet the afd Deft altho’
   often required the afd Summe of Seven hundred and Eighty Seven
   pounds of Tobacco to the Said Plt. hath not paid but that to him to
   render or pay hitherto hath denied and Still doth deny and unjustly
   detain to the Damage of him the Said Plt fifteen pounds Sterling money
   and thereupon he brings Sute &ca. TBowne pr Quer plds Jno Doe & Rd Roe
   The afd Deft. being called came And the afd Plt. by Thomas Bowne his
   attry prays that the afd Deft may give Special baile to the afd Accõn
   which is granted   After which John Browne and James Reyley both
   of Said County and here in Court cometh and they Acknowledge thems
                                                                                                     Selves
