61 years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and him the said negro man named Thomas Queen I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of service or servitude to me my executors or administrators forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this nineteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty Signed sealed and John Redmiles (seal) delivered in presence of G. W. Camden J. W. Hunter State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this 19.th day of August eighteen hundred and fifty before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Anne Arundel County aforesaid personally appears John Redmiles he being known to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing deed or indenture and doth acknowledge the said indenture or instrument of writing to be their his act and. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name on 62½cts the day and year aforesaid paid Recorded 19.th August 1850 J. W. Hunter
