Winterson State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this 24.th day of January 1850 personally appears before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said County James Cheston and John Armiger parties grantors to the within instrument of writing they being known to me to be such and acknowledged the same to be their act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided Taken and certified before Gassaway Winterson Co 50cts Recorded the 30.th day of January 1850 paid
moving have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro man named Thomas Queen being of the age of thirty seven |
