58 for the purposes therein mentioned according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Acts of Assembly in such cases made and provided Acknowledged before J. W. Hunter Co 50cts Recorded 25.th October 1849 paid ex d d to G Winterson 25 Sept 1851
good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro boy named Alfred he being of the age of six years thewtieth day of July last so soon as he shall arrive at the age of twenty one years and the said negro boy named Alfred I do declare to be from thenceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of service or servitude to me my executors or administrators forever In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Pindell have this seventeenth day of November Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and forty nine set my hand and affixed my seal Signed and sealed Elizabeth G.
