and considerations me thereunto moving have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negroes as follows (to wit) consisting of the following men women and children. My negro man named Robert Jones aged about seventy years he having a competency to support himself and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance; my negro woman Laura daughter of the above named Robert aged about thirty five years now intermarried with William Raines a free man of color and her son William Henry aged about fourteen years; my negro man Robert son of the first named man Robert aged about thirty two years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance; my negro woman Zepporah aged about thirty years now intermarried with a free man of color named Wiley Baily and her three children Wiley a boy in his fourth year; Indianna a girl in her third year; Leah a girl about eight months old. My negro woman Mary aged about twenty eight years now intermarried with Pinnel Carr a free man of color and her children - Jacob a boy about seven years old, Stephen Sprigg a boy about two years old, Jane an infant girl about ten days |
