205 U States Internal Ridout and acknowledged the above Deed Revenue Stamp of Manumission and Release of Service to 5cts J T H be his free act and deed 14 Nov 1864 M T E Hyde Justice of the Peace Recorded the 17 day of November 1864 E Deed of Manumission and Release of Service Whereas my slave Isaac Gaden otherwise called ISaac Goodwin has enlisted in the service of the united States Now in Consideration thereof I Philip Pettibone of anne arundel County State of Maryland do hereby in Consideration of said enlistment Manumit Set free and release the above named Isaac from all service due me his freedom to commence from the tenth day of March 1864 the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the thirtieth Regiment of Colored Troops in the service of the united states Witness My hand and Seal this 14 day of November 18654 Witness John T E Hyde Philip Pettibone (Seal) Henry Tydings Saml T Redgrave Anne arundel County State of Maryland 1864 U States Internal Before me appeared this day Philip Revenue stamp 5cts Pettibone and acknowledged the above J T E H Deed of Manumission and Release of Service 14 Nov 1864 to be his act and deed John T E Hyde Justice of the Peace Recorded the 11 day of November 1864 |
