do hereby in consideration of said enlistment Manumit Set free
and release the above named Wm Evans from all service due
me his freedom to Commence from the 11 day of March 1864
the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the 30 Regiment
of Colored Troops in the service of the united states
             Witness My hand and Seal this Eighteenth day of april

Deed of Manumission and Release of Service
                   Whereas My slave asbury Kelly has enlisted in the
service of the united states now in consideration thereof I Henry
F Dunbar of anne arundel County state of Maryland do hereby
in consideration of said enlistment Manumit Set free and release
the above named asbury Kelly from all service due me his
freedom to Commence from the 31 day of march 1864 the date
of his enlistment as aforesaid in the 39 Regiment of Colored
Troops in the service of the untied states
             Witness My hand and seal this 11.th day of april 1864
