has enlisted in the service of the united states now in
Consideration thereof I Edwin W Duvall of Anne arundel
County State of Maryland do hereby in consideration of
said enlistment manumit set free and release the above
named                                    from all service due me
his freedom to Commence from the                      the
date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the         Regiment
of Colored Troops in the Service of the United States
Witness My hand and Seal this Seventh day of April 1864

                State of Maryland 1864 April 7th
U States Int            Before me appeared this day Edwin
Revenue Stamp      W Duvall and acknowledged the above
5 Cents O M T      Deed of Manumission and Release of
    7 ap 1864          Service to be ^his^ free act and deed

Recorded the 12 day of April 1864

Deed of Manumission and Release of Service
             Whereas My Slave Isaac Pratt has enlisted
in the Service of the United States.  Now in Consideration thereof
I Edwin W Duvall of Anne arundel County & State
of Maryland do hereby in consideration of said enlistment
Manumit Set free and Release the above named
from all Service due me his freedom to Commence
from the                        the date of his enlistment
as aforesaid in the         Regiment of Colored Troops
in the Service of the United States
             Witness my hand and seal this seventh day of apl 1864
