    Deed of Manumission and Release of Service
          Whereas my slave William H Brown has enlisted
in the service of the united states   Now in Consideration
thereof I Mary Mullan of Anne arundel County State
of Maryland do hereby in Consideration of said enlistment
Manumit Set free and release the above named Wm H Brown
from all service due me his freedom to commence from the third
day of March 1864 the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the
30 Regiment of Colored Troops in the Service of the United States
             Witness my hand & seal this sixth day of april

has enlisted in the Service of the United States now
in Consideration thereof I John T E Hyde of Anne
arundel County State of Maryland do hereby in
Consideration of said enlistment set free and release
the above named Robert Lloyd from all service due
me his freedom to commence from the 24 day of February
1864 the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the
