Margaret have increase they are all to be free at the age of
thirty five years both male and female  That is should
Hester have increase said increase are to be free at the
age of thirty five years and should Margaret have increase
they also are to be free at the age of thirty five years
    Witness my hand and seal this thirty first day of
May Eighteen hundred and sixty

       At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
State of maryland anne arundel County to wit
           I hereby Certify that on this thirty first day of may
Eighteen hundred and sixty before the subscriber a Justice
of the peace of the said state in and for the County
aforesaid personally appeared Dorsey Jacob and
acknowledged the foregoing deed of manumission to
paid    be his act                  Wm Glover
75      Recorded the 31 day of May 1860


       We Alfred A Eskridge and Ely or Ann his wife of Blair
County and state of Pennsylvania do hereby Manumit
and set free in Eight years from the date hereof our slaves
Rhoda and any issue which she may have prior to the
expiration of the said Eight years shall be free at the age
of thirty six years and so of the succeeding issue of the
females for ever and we also hereby manumit and
set free our slaves Maria aged sixteen years Jane aged
Eleven years John aged nine years Wilson aged seven
years Anna aged seven years Ellen aged three years
and Samuel aged eighteen months The freedom of each
to commence from and after they shall have attained
the age of thirty six years respectively and we further
declare that all the issue which the said Maria Jane
Anna and Ellen may have prior to their freedom shall
