and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance
and them the said negroes above named I do
declare to be henceforth free manumitted
and discharged from all manner of service
or servitude to me my heirs executors or administrators
forever.  I  witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth
day of December eighteen hundred and forty
five

               Then came before me the Subscriber one

45cts     manumission to be his act and deed
Paid       Recorded the 11.th day of Dec.b 1845   Jos Nicholson

 To all whom
it may concern
be it known
that I Rezin
H Snowden of Anne arundel County in the State
of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations
me thereunto moving have released
from slavery liberated manumitted and set
free the following negroes to wit Mary
Johnson Thomas Johnson Angelina Johnson
Maria Hall Anne Maria Hall William
Hammond Priscilla Hammond Washington
Hammond Malvina Hammond Rachel
Hammond Louisa Kelson Nancy Butler Delia
Butler and William Henry her son being of lawful
