       At the foot of the foregoing was thus written
to wit
       State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to
wit.  Be it remembered and it is hereby
certified that on this 31.st day of October
in the year of our Lord one thousand and
eight hundred and forty five before the Subscriber
a justice of the peace of the State of
Maryland in and for the County aforesaid
personally appeared Doctor Richard Weems
and acknowledged the aforegoing manumission
or instrument of writing to be his
act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned
Ex.d.d   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
costs      set my hand on the day above written

from Rezin H Snowden
to sundry negroes dated
the tenth day of December
eighteen hundred and forty five
 To all whom it
may concern be
it known that
I Rezin H Snowden
of Anne Arundel
County in the
State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations
me thereunto moving have released
from slavery liberated manumitted and set free
and by these presents do hereby release from slavery
liberate manumit and set free the following
negroes to wit Joshua Wright Isaac Wright
Richard Walker James Butler Henry Lane and
Henry Ridgely being of lawful age and able to work
