    Test   Wm Hawkins   Aaron Hawkins
                At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
State of Maryland Anne arundel County to wit
                I hereby Certify that on this twenty seventh day
of February Eighteen hundred and sixty before the
Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of maryland
in and for anne arundel County aforesaid personally
appeared Joseph M Brian and acknowledged the
aforegoing Deed to be her act
paid                                             Wm Hawkins
50   Recorded the 28 day of February 1860


    I Achsah Dorsey of anne arundel County State of
Maryland do hereby Manumit and set free my
Negro Slaves Maria Bacon a molatter woman aged
respectively Jenny Bacon thirteen years Nannie Bacon
ten years Mary Elizabeth Bacon nine years Kelly Bacon
six years their freedom to Commence as follows to wit
Maria Bacon the mother from the date of these presents
Jenny Bacon and Nannie Bacon each at the age of
twenty years and Mary Elizabeth Bacon and Kelly
Bacon each at the age of ten years   Witness my hand
and seal this 29 day of February Eighteen hundred
and sixty                        Achsah Dorsey   (seal)

State of Maryland anne arundel County to wit
             I hereby Certify that on this twenty Ninth day of
February in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty before
the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the said state and

did acknowledge the foregoing instrument of writing to be
her act and deed
