At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
State of maryland Anne arundel County Sc
On this 27 day of December in the year of our Lord
1859 before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the
said state in and for said County personally appeared
Haysel Haynes and acknowledged the foregoing
deed of manumission to be her act and deed
                                        Jacob Clark
Recorded the 27 day of December 1859


    We Mary Ann Simpson and Edward Simpson
of the City of Annapolis and state of maryland
do hereby Manumit and set free their Negro Slave
adeline Baldwin her freedom to Commence from the
thirty first day of august and witness our hands and
seals this Twenty Sixth day of January Eighteen
hundred and sixty               Mary Ann Simpson
Test   W.m Glover               Edward Simpson
       At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
State of maryland Anne arundel County Sct
    I hereby Certify that on this 26 day of January
1860 before the subscriber a Justice of the peace
of the said state in and for said County personally appears
Mary Ann Simpson and Edward Simpson deed did
each acknowledge the above Manumission to be their
respective act                           W.m Glover
Recorded the 28 January 1860
