the peace of Anne arundel County aforesaid James
Deale of Ja.s and acknowledged the foregoing Deed of
Manumission to be her act and deed
                                     Martin Deale   J P
Recorded the 4 day of August 1857


       I Sarah Jones of Anne Arundel County
and State of maryland do hereby Manumit
and set free my negro Girl named Martha
when she arrives at the age of Thirty years
which will be on the 15 day of September
in the year of one thousand Eight hundred
and Seventy two Witnesses my hand and
seal this twenty ninth day of may Eighteen
hundred and fifty seven         her

    At the foot of the aforegoing as thus written to wit
State of maryland Anne arundel County to wit
On this 29 day of may Eighteen hundred and
fifty seven personally appear Sarah Jones of
the said County & state before me and acknowledged
the above deed of manumission to be her act and
deed according to the acts of assembly in such
Case made and provided
paid               Cha.s Hodges a Justice of the Peace

and state of Maryland do hereby manumit and
set free my slave man named Nelson Cammel
his freedom to Commence from the date of these presents
