116 the peace of Anne arundel County aforesaid James Deale of Ja.s and acknowledged the foregoing Deed of Manumission to be her act and deed Martin Deale J P Recorded the 4 day of August 1857 I Sarah Jones of Anne Arundel County and State of maryland do hereby Manumit and set free my negro Girl named Martha when she arrives at the age of Thirty years which will be on the 15 day of September in the year of one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy two Witnesses my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of may Eighteen hundred and fifty seven her Witness Sarah x Jones Ch.s Hodges Mark Joseph C.
