95 Given under my hand and seal this fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of Jn.o Gwinn (seal) Henry Maynadier Th Harris on the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: Maryland anne arundel County ss.t Be it remembered That on this fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen personally appeared Doctor John Gwinn within named before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid & acknowledged the within to be his act and deed Chd James Hunter d.d Ex.d 2 Recorded the 5th day of January 1819 To all whom it may concern Be it known that I Stephen Boone of anne arundel County in the State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving do hereby agree to be released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumitt and set free my negro Girl named Elizabeth aged two years and Eight months to be free at the age of twenty years with all her increase which will be on the twenty first of April one thousand Eight hundred and thirty six and her the said Elizabeth I do declare with her increase to be at the time specified free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my Executors or administrators for ever (In) |
