Eighteen hundred and forty two

    On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
       State of maryland County of anne arundel sct
             Be it remembered That on this twenty fifth day
of march A D Eighteen hundred and forty two before the
subscriber a Justice of the peace of the said State in and
for said County duly Commissioned and sworn personally
appeared Charles Waters Esq he being known unto me
to be the person who is named and described as and
professing to be a party to the foregoing Indenture and
acknowledged the same to be his act and deed  In
Testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name on the
day and year above written

4   Recorded the 25th day of march 1842


       Know all men by these presents that I Charles Waters
of anne arundel County in the State of maryland for and
in consideration of the sum of three hundred twenty five
dollars to me in hand paid by Leonard W Foreman of the
same County the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the said Leonard W Foreman
his Executors administrators and assigns
from the day of the date of these presents untill the twenty
ninth day of December in the year Eighteen hundred and
fifty six and not longer.  And be it further known that
from and after the said last mentioned day and ^to^ date
and take effect from and upon the same and not before
