61 and seals this twenty fourth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and seventeen Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of Mary Armiger (seal) Henry C Drury of Cha.s Enoch Shekell Richard G Hutton (seal) John H D Lane At the foot of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: Received on the day of the ^above^ date the sum of one hundred dollars it being the full consideration money above mentioned Mary Armiger (seal) Richard G Hutton (seal) Anne Arundle County to wit: On this twenty fourth day of Octr Personally appear mary Armiger and R G Hutton administrators of John Armiger deceased party to foregoing instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be their act and deed for the purposes before mentioned and the negro women before named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged from all services to them or any claiming under them and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided Acknowledged before Ex.d d.d John H D Lane chd 3¼ Recorded the 23d day of January 1818 To all whom it may concern Be it known that I George martin of the City of annapolis in the State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of three hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated (manumitted) |
