590 and set free from and after the respective periods herein after named that is to say Caroline is to be free from and after the first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty nine Betty to be free from and after the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty one Herbert to be free from and after the first day of January Eighteen hundred and sixty one Rezin to be free from and after the first day of January Eighteen hundred and sixty two and the said Negro woman Delilah and her children the said Caroline Betty Herbert and Rezin I do declare to be thenceforth that is to say from and after the respective periods above named freed manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my Executors or administrators and from all manner of claim or right of claim of servitude or service by me my Executors or administrators for ever And I do hereby declare fix and determine that the State and Condition of the issue that may be born of the said woman slave Delilah and the issue that may be born of the said Caroline and Betty during their respective periods of servitude shall be that of servants until such issue shall arrive if males to the age of twenty one years and if females to the age of Eighteen years.
