591 the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purposes within mentioned Ex.d d.d Acknowledged before Th G Waters paid 3 Recorded the 14 day of January 1839 To all whome these presents shall come Greeting Be it known that I Abner Linthicum of Anne Arundel County and State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations and two hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Joseph Green who owns her as his wife me thereunto moving have and by these presents do manumit set free and liberate from slavery a negro woman called Eliza Green with all the increases that she may have from this date In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15 day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty nine Witness Th G Waters Abner Linthicum (seal) G H Camden At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit Anne arundel County to wit Be it remembered That on the 15th day of January 1839 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for anne arundel county the above named Abner Linthicum who acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed Th G Waters paid 3 Recorded the 15th day of January 1839 To all whom it may Concern Be it known that I Thomas Robinson of Anne Arundel County in the State of maryland for divers good causes and Considerations me |
