519 manumitted and discharged from all manner of service or servitude to me my executors or administrators for ever In testimony whereof the said Richard Anderson has hereunto set his hand and seal this Eleventh day of January 1832 his Signed sealed and acknowledged Richard X Anderson in presence of us Samuel Bryan Robert Bryan On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Anne Arundel County Maryland ss This day January the Eleventh 1832 personally appeared before me a Justice of the peace for said County Richard Anderson the subscriber to the within deed of manumission and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned witness my hand Joel Hopkins J P A A county Annexed to the aforegoing deed of Manumission was the following receipts to wit Received 22nd Ap.l 1803 from Negro Dick seventy pounds in part of the sum of Eighty which he is to pay me for his daughter Lucy 70£ Rebecca Dorsey Baltimore 10.th Feby 1804 Received of Richard Anderson Ten pounds for his daughter Lucy in full of all demands paid Rebecca Dorsey 4 Recorded the 7.th day of March 1832 To all whom it may concern be it known that I Samuel Norman of Anne Arundel County in the state of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of five dollars Current money to me in hand paid have released |
