518 appear'd the said Samuel H Hamilton before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for said County and acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his act and deed paid Gideon White 2½ Recorded the 27.th day of February 1832 To all whom it may concern be it known that I Richard Anderson of Anne Arundel County state of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free the following coloured persons being the offspring of my daughter Lucy Blue deceased formerly slave to Rebecca Dorsey of whom I purchased the said Lucy for the sum of Eighty pounds the receipts for the payment of which sum of money are hereunto attached namely Susan Holland aged about twenty six years David Blue aged about nineteen years Elizabeth Blue aged about seventeen years William Blue aged about fifteen years Richard Blue aged about thirteen years Eveline Blue aged about Eleven years Lewis Blue aged about nine years Daniel Blue aged about seven years all children of the said Lucy Blue also August Holland aged about seven years and Caroline Holland aged about two years children of the above named Susan Holland and also Daniel aged about three years son of the above named Elizabeth Blue and them the said Susan David Elizabeth William Richard Eveline Lewis Daniel August Caroline and Daniel the second I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted |
