515 Achsah Goldsborough party to the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland for the County aforesaid and acknowledges the same to be her act and deed for the purposes within mentioned and the negro child within named to be manumitted and discharged from all services to her or to any claiming under her from and after the period therein mentioned and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided chd Acknowledged before Edward Dubois 3½ Recorded the 24.th day of January 1832 To all whom it may concern be it known that I Mary Ann Warfield of Anne Arundel County in the state of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of one dollar currant money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free the following named Mulatto children being sound of body and mind known by the names of william Fosset John Fosset James Fosset Levi Fosset Mary Elizabeth Fosset and Elenor Fosset the said William will be thirteen years old the twenty fifth day of June next the said John will be eleven years old the second day of February next the said James will be nine years old the thirtieth day of this instant the said Levi will be eight years old the second day of October next the said Mary Elizabeth will be five years old the twelfth day of October next the said Elenor will be three years old the twenty fifth day of September next the said boys to be free at the age of twenty one & the said girls |
