    This Indenture witnesseth that I Benjamin
Sunderland of Anne Arundel County in the state of
Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one
Dollar to me in hand paid at and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whareof is hereby
acknowledged have releast from slavery manumated
and set free and by these presents do release from slavery
manumate and set free my negro man named Samuel
Guary aged twenty four years of a helthy constitution
sound in mind and body and capable by labour to
procure to himself sufficient food and raiment with
other requisits nesecery for life from and after the
first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and forty one also I do hereby realease
from slavery manumated and set free my negro woman
Rachel aged twenty years of a helthy constitution sound in
mind and body and capable by labour to procure to herself
sufficient food and raiment with other requisits nesecery
for life from and after the first day of January Eighteen
hundred and thirty seven and if during the continuance
of the servitude of the said woman Rachel she shall have
any isue of her body begotten then I herby determin
grant and agree that the state or condition of the said
esue shall be if mail to serve untill they are twenty five
years of age and if femal  to serve untill they are twenty
one years of age and then to be free.  And I do hereby release
from slavery manumate and set free my negro boy Robert
aged four years of a helthy constitution sound in mind and
body and promises to be capable by labour to procure to
