509 Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purposses within mentioned and the negro woman and her increase within named to be thenceforth manumitted and discharged from all services to him or any claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided ch.d Acknowledged before Th G waters 4¼ Recorded the 5.th day of January 1832 To all whom it may concern be it known that I John Sellman of Ann Arundel County in the state of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of one dollar current money to me in hand paid do manumit the following named negroes to be free as hereinafter expressed to wit my negro man named Henry to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty seven William to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty two Jack to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty eight Ned to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty two my negro woman named Delia to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty and all her increase born after the execution of this deed to be free at the age of thirty years my negro boy Louis to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty five my negro girl Letty to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty seven and all her increase to be free at the age of thirty years my negro boy Harry to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and |
