485 years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and him the said negro man named David Brown I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my Executors or administrators forever In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 16.th day of July in the year of our Lord 1831 Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Sarah E Murray (seal) Gideon White At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Received on the day of the date within mentioned the sum of ten dollars current money it being the full consideration money within mentioned witness Gideon White Sarah E Murray Anne Arundel County sc.
