the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty one
Signed sealed and delivered                his
in the presence of                        John X Boston  (seal)

At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit
    Received on the day of the date of the aforesaid deed
of manumission the sum of five dollars current money it
being the consideration money within mentioned
witness                                                      his
         Richard Williams                         John X Boston
                                                                mark

         Anne Arundel County to wit   On this 27th day of
June 1831 personally appears before the subscriber a
Justice of the peace for said County John Boston party
to the aforesaid instrument of writing and acknowledges
the same to be his act and deed for the purposes within
mentioned and the negro woman within named to be
henceforth manumitted and discharged from all services
to him or any claiming under him and to be free and
manumitted according to the act of assembly in such
cases made and provided

To all whom it may concern be it known that I
Sarah E Murray of Anne Arundel County in the
State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations
me thereunto moving as also in further consideration
of the sum of Ten dollars current money to me in hand
paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted
and set free and by these presents do hereby release
from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro
man named David Brown being of the age of thirty five
