455 first day of March Eighteen hundred and thirty Signed sealed & delivered in the his presence of Charles H Willigman Aaron X Jones (seal) James Hunter mark At the foot of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit Anne arundel County to wit On the first day of march Eighteen hundred and thirty appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for said county Aaron Jones and acknowledged the aforegoing instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided James Hunter paid 3½ Recorded the 1.st day of March 1830 State of maryland City of Baltimore Ss To all whom it may concern whereas the undersigned Evan T Ellicott and Isaac Tyson Junior of the City of Baltimore aforesaid have heretofore purchased the Cape sable property in anne arundel County state of maryland including the personal property therein among which was negro man named Isaac Benson represented to us to be about thirty seven years of age and a negro woman named Rachel Solmen represented to be about thirty years of age and not wishing to hold such property & for other divers Good causes us thereunto moving we the said Evan T Ellicott and Isaac Tyson Junior do hereby liberate manumit and declare free as far as the right in us is vested so to do the said negro woman Isaac Benson and negro woman Rachel Solmen and the issue of the said female henceforth from us our executors or administrators for ever In |
