454 At the foot of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit Received of 20th day of Jan 1830 the above mentioned sum of one dollar current money it being the full consideration of the above mentioned sum Richard G Hutton Charlotte Hutton (seal) State of M.d A A County to wit On this 20.th day of Jan 1830 personally appeared before me the subscriber Charlotte Hutton party to the foregoing Instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and for the purposes therein mentioned and the negro man Hillery therein mentioned to be free when the term thereof expires according to the act of assembly made and provides in such cases Ex.d d.d Acknowledged before Richard G Hutton chd 3¼ Recorded the 18.th day of February 1830 This Indenture witnesseth that I Aaron Jones of anne arundel County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one cent to me in hand paid at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have released from slavery manumitted and set free and by these presents do release from slavery manumit and set free my wife Sally and her two boys and daughter named William Francis and SUsan they being under forty five years of age of a healthy constitution sound in mind and body and capable by labour to procure themselves sufficient food and raiment with other requisite necessaries of life.
