451 of five years to serve her mother Juliet untill she arrives is sixteen years of age Jane aged four years to serve her mother untill She is sixteen years of age and all there increase to be free to there latest generations negro child William about two months old to serve his mother Juliet untill he is twenty one years of age and them the said negro children named Cassey Ellen Jane and Child William I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators forever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty fifth day of January in they year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty Signed sealed and delivered her in the presence of Catharine + Hutton (seal) Richard G Hutton mark Henry C Drury of W.m At the foot of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit Received Jan 25.th 1830 the above mentioned sum of five dollars current money it being the full consideration above mentioned her Richard G Hutton Catharine + Hutton (seal) mark State of M.d A A County to wit: On this 25th day of Jan 1830 personally appears Catharine Hutton party to the foregoing instrument of writing and acknowledges the same to be her act and deed and for the purposes therein mentioned and the three negro Children therein named to be henceforth manumitted and discharge from all services to her or to any claiming under her and to be and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided Ex.d d.d Acknowledged before Richard G Hutton paid 4 Recorded the 18.th day of February 1830 |
