434 late belonging to the Estate of James Williams of the city of Annapolis and State aforesaid and purchased by me of said Estate to wit one negro woman Nancy one mulatto woman Sall to serve to the first of January Eighteen hundred and thirty one one mulatto boy Charles to serve to the first of January Eighteen hundred and forty five one mulatto boy Henry one mulatto girl Mary Elizabeth one mulatto boy William eight or nine years old one mulatto girl Harriet Ann six years old one mulatto girl Fanny five years old one mulatto girl Leonora four years old one mulatto girl Emily Ardeen two years old all of which Children are the issue of the above named woman Sall to have and to hold all and singular the said slaves and servants above specified or intended so to be to the said Lewis Neth his executors administrators and assigns forever And I the said John Guyer do hereby constitute and appoint Thomas Harris Henry H Harwood and Samuel Maynard Esquires all of the City of Annapolis and State aforesaid jointly and severally my attorney and attornies will full power to appear for me and in my name and as my act and deed to acknowledge in due form of Law this Instrument before some Judge or Justice according to the Laws of the State of Maryland and to deliver possession of the aforesaid slaves and servants as above bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto the said Lewis Neth as fully and effectually as myself would do if personally present and I the said John Guyer do hereby satisfy and confirm the the said acknowledgement and delivery so to be made and done by the said Thomas Harris Henry H Harwood and Samuel Maynard Esquires or either of them as aforesaid (and) |
