433 At the foot of the aforegoing is thus written to wit Received this fourteenth day of July Eighteen hundred and twenty nine five dollars the consideration of the foregoing deed H S Holland James Shaw J Murray Anne Arundel County Be it remembered that on this fourteenth day of July Eighteen hundred and twenty nine personally appears Henry S Holland James Shaw and James Murray before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace for the State of Maryland and county aforesaid and acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing to their act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned and the negro men within named to be manumitted and discharged at the periods respectively mentioned in said deed from all service to them or to any person claiming by through or under them or either of them according to the act of assembly in such case made and provided Ex.d d.d acknowledged before James Hunter Chd 5 Recorded the 14th day of July 1829 Know all men by these presents that I John Guyer of the Island of Saint Bartholomew for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars current money of the United States to me in hand paid by Lewis Neth of the City of Annapolis and State of Maryland at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said John Guyer do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Lewis Neth his executors administrators and assigns all and singular the following slaves and servants (late) |
