408 for ever In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of october in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty Eight Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of Thos Burgess James Pryor (seal) Oner Burgess on the Back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Received on the day of the date within mentioned the sum of one dollar Current money it being the full Consideration money within mentioned Witness Present James Pryor Thos Burgess Anne Arundel County to wit On this 3d day of October Eighteen hundred and twenty Eight personally appears James Pryor before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his act and deed and the negro slave therein mentioned he be from and after the ninth day of October Eighteen hundred and forty nine manumitted and discharged from all services to him the said James Pryor or any Claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the acts of assembly in such Case made and provided Chd Acknowledged Before Thos Burgess 3½ Recorded the 8th day of October 1828 To all whom it may Concern be it known that I Hammond welsh of anne arundel County in (the) |
