392 To all whom it may Concern be it Known that I Sarah E Murray of the City of annapolis in the State of Maryland for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving as also in further Consideration of one dollar Current money to me in hand paid have released from Slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these Presents do hereby release from Slavery manumit and set free my negro man named Isaac now living in Baltimore City and of the age of Twenty three years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and him the said negro named Isaac I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my Executors or administrators forever In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty Eight Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Gideon White Sarah E Murray (seal) J Murray On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Received On the day of the date above mentioned the sum of one dollar Current money it being the full Consideration money above mentioned Test J Murray Sarah E Murray Anne Arundel County Sct Be it remembered that on this first day of February one thousand Eight hundred and twenty Eight personally |
