366 Sparrow shall take upon himself the support of such child or children as soon as the said child or children may be born either by removing the said child or children from being a burden to my brother John Mercer or by his allowing my brother John Mercer to deduct a reasonable sum for the support of such child or children from the wages of him the said James Sparrow or by his the said James Sparrow otherwise providing for the support of the said child or children during the aforesaid term of servitude of his wife Nelly to the satisfaction of my aforesaid brother John Mercer or by the said James Sparrow removing the said child or children at any period of the aforesaid term of servitude of his wife Nelly from being a burthen to my brother John Mercer. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal Signed & Sealed in the presence of us Margaret Mercer (seal) William OHara Cary S Mercer At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit Anne Arundel County sct On this 12th day of Feby 1827 personally appears before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace for said County Margaret Mercer and acknowledges the aforegoing instrument of writing to be her act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned according to the true intent & meaning thereof & the act of assembly in such case made and provided paid Acknowledged before William OHara Ex.d d.d 4¼ Recorded the 20th day of February 1827 |
