35 service to me my Executors or administrators forever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty Eighth day of april Eighteen hundred and seventeen Elizabeth Childs (seal) Test Samuel Gover Thomas Sellman At the foot and on the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: Received on the day of the above date the sum of five dollars Current money it being the full consideration money above mentioned Elizabeth Childs Witness Samuel Gover anne arundel County to wit: On this 28th day of april Eighteen hundred and seventeen personally appears Elizabeth Childs party to the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be her act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Ch.d Acknowledged before Thomas Sellman 3 Recorded the 7th day of June 1817 To all whom it may concern Be it known that I Leonard Scott of anne arundel County in the City of annapolis and State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of five shillings Current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery my negro man named Robert Hall being about the age of Thirty five years and able to get his living have |
