any unnecessary delay sign seal execute acknowledge
and record in ane form of Law according to the directions
of the act of assembly of the State of Maryland in such case
made and provided a good and sufficient Deed or good
and sufficient Deeds of manumission to take effect from
and after the expiration of the aforesaid term of four years
and by the said Deed or Deeds of manumission so to be
executed acknowledged and recorded as aforesaid fully
Clearly and absolutely to emancipate manumit liberate
and set free from slavery forever the said twelve negroe
slaves named Sam Jerry Suck Hess Jem Bill
Bob Ned Sam Wallace Bill another of that name John
and Charles and each and every of them and their and
each and every of their children and issue respectively
so that from and after the expiration of the aforesaid
term of four years the same slaves and each and every
of them and their and each and every of their children
and issue respectively shall have and be legally entitled
to absolute rights to freedom from slavery forever
And the said Nicholas Darnall and Henry Darnall
for themselves their heirs executors and administrators
do hereby covenant promise grant and agree to and
with the said Robert Welch of Ben his heirs executors
administrators and assigns that they the said Nicholas
Darnall and Henry Darnall their heirs executors and
administrators shall and will at any time or times
hereafter at the request of the said Robert Welch of Ben
his heirs executors administrators or assigns make do
execute acknowledge and deliver in ane form of Law
all and every such further and other lawful and
reasonable acts Deeds Bills of Sale and assurances as
shall be necessary for the further better and more
perfect assigning conveying and assuring the said
