And I do hereby declare the said Susan Butler to be free from and after the day aforesaid and also that any issue which may be born of the said Susan before the day aforesaid on which her manumission is to take effect shall be free at the age of twenty five years and so also as to the issue of such issue born before the period of their liberation and their issue forever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty six Signed sealed and delivered in presence of us Henry Maynadier (seal) R Welch of Ben R I. Cowman At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit Annapolis Maryland sct On this fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for anne arundel county the above named Henry maynadier and acknowledged the above deed of manumission to be his act and deed according to the true intent thereof and agreeably to the act of assembly in such cases provided Ch.d Taken before R I. Cowman 3 Recorded the 14th day of June 1826 To all to whom these presents shall come Nicholas Darnall and Henry Darnall some time of Portland manor in ann arundel county in the State of Maryland now of the City and County of Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania sons and Legatees and Devisees named |
