the 8.th 1822 to be free on the day he shall arrive to the
age of twenty one years negro John born on the 4th day of
March 1824 to be free on the day he shall arrive at the
age of twenty one years.  Witness my hand and seal this
nineteenth day of March 1825

At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit
State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit
On the 19th day of March 1825 personally appears
Mary Wilson party to the above instrument of writing
before us the subscribers Justices of the peace of the State
of Maryland for said County and acknowledges the
same to be her act and Deed for the purposes above
mentioned and the above negroes to be free according to
the purport of the above instrument of writing

To all whom it may concern be it known that I
Walter Cross of the City of annapolis in the State of
Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me
thereunto moving as also in further consideration of the
sum of five dollars current money to me in hand paid
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge by these presents
do hereby release from slavery manumit and set free
the following negro slaves when they shall have arrived
at the respective aged hereinafter mentioned to wit negro
Henry Addison born the twenty fourth of October one
thousand eight hundred and twenty two to be free when
