309 both both male and female to be free at the age of thirty years and their increase forever at which time the said Sarah and Christina will be thirty eight years of age and I do hereby declare the said negroes to be henceforth discharged manumitted and set free from me my heirs executors administrators and assigns and from all person persons whatsoever on the aforementioned time In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 21 day of March 1825 In presence of Gideon White Elijah Pennington (seal) Rebecca A Pennington Robert W Earekson At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit Rec.d the day and date above mentioned the full Consideration above mentioned Test Gideon White Elijah Pennington Ann Arundell County sst on the 21 day of March 1825 appeared Elijah Pennington before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for said county and acknowledged the aforegoing instrument of writing to be his act and Deed and the negros therein mentioned to be free according to the time therein specified according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Ch.d Gideon White 3½ Recorded the 22d day of March 1823 To all whom it may Concern be it known that I Mary Ann Mackubin of Anne Arundel County in the State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby (release) |
