current money to me in hand paid have released from
slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these
presents do hereby release from slavery manumit and
set free my negro women Viz 5 Harriot being of the age
of twenty four years to be free from and after the first day
of April eighteen hundred and twenty six being one year
and three months from the date of these presents and my
negro girl charlotte being of the age of fifteen years to be free
from and after the first day of April eighteen hundred and
thirty being five years and three months from the date of
these presents both of which said slaves are able to work
and gain a sufficient Livelihood and them the said
Harriet and charlotte I do declare each to be free
manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude
or service to me my executors or administrators forever from
and after the period herein before mentioned which each has
to serve.  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my seal this twenty ninth day of
December eighteen hundred and twenty four
signed Sealed and delivered
in the presence of                        George G Brewer  (seal)
Gideon White   James Munroe

On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit
Received on the day of the date within mentioned the sum
of one dollar current money it being the full Consideration
money within mentioned               George G Brewer  (seal)

Anne Arundel County to wit   On this twenty ninth day
of December Eighteen hundred and twenty four personally
appears George G Brewer party to within Instrument of
writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the
State of Maryland for the said County and acknowledges the
same to be his act and Deed for the purposes within mentioned
Ex.d d.d                     acknowledged before   Gideon White
3   Recorded the 29th day of December 1824
