29 several & respective dates periods & ages therein assigned & prescribed according to the acts of assembly in such cases made & provided Ch.d Acknowledged before Rinaldo Pindell Ex.d d.d 9 Recorded the 8 day of march 1817 Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth Hood of ann arundel County and State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations thereunto moving and the further sum of one dollar Current money hath hereby and by these presents doth manumit liberate and set free from slavery my negro man Nicholas from and after the term of twelve years from this date In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this seventh day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and seventeen Signed Sealed and acknowledged before Wm Hall Jun.r Eliza Hood (seal) And: Warfield At the foot of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: On the seventh day of march one thousand Eight hundred and seventeen appeared Elizabeth Hood before us the subscribers Justices of the peace in and for ann arundel County and acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be her act and deed Wm Hall Jun.r Chd And: Warfield 1¾ Recorded the 17th day of march 1817 To all whom it may concern Be it known That I Thomas Hall of anne arundel County in the state of maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of Twenty dollars Current money |
