284 Conditions In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of April 1824 to be free in the 10 line interlined before signing In presence of Gideon White (seal) John T Richardson Henry Hammond At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit Rec.d the day and date above ten Dollars the above Consideration money above mentioned Gideon White Maryland Anne Arundel County S S On this 19 day of April 1824 appeared Gideon White before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace for the State and County aforesaid and acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his act and Deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof Chd Henry Hammond 2¾ Recorded the 20 day of April 1824 Know all men by these presents that I Jeremiah Townley Chase of the City of annapolis for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving have manumitted and set free Harriett a bright molatta about the age of twenty one and by these presents do manumit set free and discharge from my service the said Harriett who Calls herself Harriett Goll and formerly belonged to the late M.rs Matilda Dashiell of Somerset County In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal this seventeenth day of May Anno Domini 1824 Test Thomas Chase Jeremiah Townley Chase (seal) R.
