delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have released from slavery manumitted
and set free the said maria Boston and her
Children Daniel aged about twenty four years
Charity aged about twenty two years Susan aged
about twenty years and John aged about fifteen
years of healthy Constitutions sound in mind and
body and Capable by labour before me to them
sufficient food and raiment with other requisite
necessaries of life.   In Testimony whereof they have
hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals
this second day of October in the year of our Lord
one thousand Eight hundred and twenty one
Signed Sealed & delivered in
    presence of us                     Sarah Galloway  (seal)
    Richard G Watkins              B Maxcy         (seal)
          Moses Orme

         On the back of the aforegoing deed was thus
written to wit:
    Anne Arundel County ss.s   Acknowledged
before me one of the Justices of the peace for the said
County by the within named Sarah Galloway &
Virgil maxcy or their act & deed this second day
of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred
& twenty one
paid                                 Richard G Watkins
3   Recorded the 4th day of October 1821


       Know all men by these presents that I
George Howard of anne arundel County in
the State of maryland for divers good causes and
considerations me thereunto moving and for
the further Consideration of the sum of One
                                                       dollar
