113 and discharged from all manner of servitude to me my heirs Executors or administrators In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand seal this 21.st day of may one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Ann Jenifer (seal) Benj.a Pindle David Steuart on the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: State of maryland anne arundel County to wit. On this 21.st day of may Eighteen hundred and nineteen personally appeared anne Jenifer before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for the State of maryland in and for the County aforesaid and acknowledges the foregoing deed or instrument of writing to be her act and deed d.d Acknowledged before Benja Pindle paid Ex.d 2¼ Recorded the 21st day of may 1819 Know all men by these presents that I Anne Jenifer Executrix of the last will and testament of Joseph Jenifer late of anne arundel County deceased in pursuance of the directions and provisions in the said will contained do hereby liberate manumit and discharge from slavery and from all manner of service and servitude whatever the following negroes late the property of said Joseph Jenifer to wit negroes Charles Harry George and Peter In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this twenty (first) |
