84 Anne arundel county to wit Then came before us the subscriber two Justices of the peace for the said county Joseph Harwood party to the within instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purposes within mentioned and the negro woman and her two children within named to be henceforth discharged from all services to him or to any claiming under him and to be free according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided Acknowledged before Joseph Watkins Samuel C Watkins Recorded 9.th January 1810 Anne arundel county to wit To all whom it may concern be it known that I Mary Wyvill of the county aforesaid being fully persuaded that all men are born free and equally entitled to the enjoyment of their liberty do hereby by these presents emancipate and set free from me my heirs executors and administrators the following slaves to wit negro Orange to serve ten years from the date of these presents also negro woman Minty to serve eleven years from the date of these presents and if she should have issue during her servitude if a boy or boys they to serve until they shall arrive to the age of twenty five years if a girl or girls to serve to the age |
