my heirs executors administrators and assigns to set
free and manumit the following negroes and their heirs
forever in the following manner to wit negro Tom aged about
thirty two years to be free in three years from the date
hereof negroe Dick aged about seventeen years to
be free in eight years from the date hereof negroe
Bill aged about fifteen years to be free in ten years
from this date negro Peter aged about fourteen years
to be free in eleven years from this date negroes
David aged about ten years to be free in fifteen
years from this date negroe Anna aged about
twenty two years to be free in two years from
this date negroe Mary aged about fifteen
years to be free in ^ten^ twenty years from this
date negroe Sarah aged about one month
to be free in twenty five years from this date
and all the children that are born of these
females while in bondage after this date
and their heirs forever at the following
ages males at twenty five years of age and
females at the age of twenty one years as
witness I do hereby set my hand and
affix my seal this twenty fifth day of
march eighteen hundred and nine
signed sealed & delivered
in presence of us

on the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed
to wit anne arundel county L.  I certify
that on the twenty fifth day of march
eighteen hundred and nine came
