from all manner of claim ^or^ right of servitude by me
my executors or administrators forever and I do
also by these presents agree and permit the
said Milly Murray in consideration that she
will feed clothe and support the said Richard
to retain him in her possession until the period
above mentioned when his freedom shall
commence and take effect by virtue of
these presents or until he shall or may be
liberated in any other way according to law
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this eighth day of october in
the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and
eight
signed sealed & delivered
in the presence of          Jn.o Lloyd Tilghman   (seal)

on the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
Maryland ann arundel county viz.t  on this 8.th
day of october 1808 appeared John Lloyd Tilghman before
the subscriber a Justice of the peace for the county aforesaid
and acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing
to be his act and deed according to the true
intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly
in such cases made and provided
